📖 “A Capoeira e Nossas Raízes” – The Birth of Capoeira
Experience an Interactive Afternoon of Storytelling, Music, Movement & Capoeira!
Join us for a fun and enriching experience designed for children and families.

Professora Iguana (ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco) and Professora Ciranda (ABADÁ-Capoeira Marin), will guide participants on an exciting journey through the history and culture of Capoeira. Through storytelling, songs, games, movement, and music—in both English and Portuguese—children will discover the rich traditions and inspiring stories behind this unique Afro-Brazilian art form.

Special Guest: Mestrando Jabuti also from ABADÁ Capoeira San Francisco.
Experience the vibrant rhythms of Capoeira with master percussionist Mestrando Jabuti. Learn exciting beats, explore traditional instruments, and immerse yourself and our children in the joyful world of Capoeira through music and rhythm.
Travel back in time as we explore important historical events of the 1800s, celebrating the resilience, creativity, and cultural heritage that gave rise to Capoeira. This interactive program encourages imagination, movement, learning, and community while bringing history to life for the whole family.
