💡 What is the Batizado?

It’s a graduation ceremony that introduces new students to Capoeira and celebrates those advancing to the next level. More than just receiving a cord, it’s about embracing the traditions of Capoeira, growing as a community, and learning from incredible instructors and Mestres from across the country and around the world.

Event Details

Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Location: Bacich Community Center, 699 Sir Francis Drake Ave, Greenbrae, CA 94904
Student Arrival Time: 9:00 AM
Uniform Requirement: To participate in both the workshops and the graduation ceremony, a full ABADÁ-Capoeira uniform is required.
Cost: $80 for adults, $70 for youth.
Registration Window: Opens March 15, 2025 – Closes May 15, 2025
