HOLIDAY RODA - SAVE THE DATE

Dear ABADÁ-Capoeira Community, Please mark your calendars for our Annual Holiday Celebration!

This year we will host our Fifth Holiday Roda, starting from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on December 21st at the Body Vibe Studio, in San Rafael. It is much more than just a Roda. It is a time to celebrate our community, our families, our good fortune and all the challenges that keep us growing. Just like last year, we will have a delicious Pot Luck Lunch. We will offer the famous Brazilian cheese balls (Brazilian pão de queijo), and warm apple cider. Please bring something yummy and healthy to share

Volunteers are needed to help set-up and clean up!

Please talk to Instrutora Ciranda and Professor Prego to sign up you name up.

Here is the schedule:

10:00 AM - Setting up food and tables (volunteers needed)

10:30 AM to 11:30 AM - Music, dance, and fun!

11:30 AM to 1:00 PM- Special Holiday Capoeira Roda!

December 21, 2019:Holiday Roda at Body Vibe Studios from 10 am to 1 pm.

December 22, 2019 to January 6, 2020: Winter Break - No classes at Body Vibe Studio.

January 7, 2020: Capoeira classes resume.

January 11, 2020: Batizado 2020 Planning committee meeting from 1:15 pm - 2:15 pm (after Saturday adult class).

January 18, February 15 and March 21, 2020: Instrument Classes at Body Vibe Studios (from 1:15pm to 2:30pm).

March 15, 2020: Capoeira Marathon, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Body Vibe Studios.

April 4, 2020: Batizado Registration opens!

April 25, 2020: Batizado Early Bird Deadline for Discounted Registrations.

May 23, 2020: Last Day to Register for 2020 Batizado.

June 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2020: ACM Batizado Workshops with Mestrando Pretinho.

June 7, 2020: ACM 5th Annual Batizado & Graduation Ceremony (Location TBA).

July 11, 18, 25, August 1 and 8, 2020: Capoeira Family Classes from 10:15 am - 11:15 am.

July 20-24, 2020: Teen Outdoor Capoeira Summer Camp.

August 3-7, 2020: Youth Capoeira Summer Camp at Robinson Harrighton's House (ages 5-8 years old). REGISTRATION OPEN IN JANUARY!

August 31 to September 7, 2020: Summer Break - No classes.

September 8, 2020: Classes resume at Body Vibe Studio.

September 15, 2020: Classes start in Schools and Community Centers.
