The end of the year is always an important time to reflect, give thanks and think about the future. We are so grateful to everyone in our community for all your support and keeping ABADÁ-Capoeira Marin going throughout this pandemic.

In recent weeks we have faced increasing concerns related to COVID-19 along with ever-changing stay at home orders. These events can make it difficult to stay fit both physically and mentally.

Capoeira is a unique martial art that is a testament to human perseverance and resiliency. We are pleased that our local and state authorities have permitted capoeira classes to continue outdoors pursuant to our site-specific plan.

With your continuing support, we expect that we will be able to continue providing outdoor capoeira classes to all age levels safely and in conformance with government guidelines. We encourage you to stay fit, go to classes whenever possible, and attend online via zoom when the rain forces us indoors.

We would not be here without you.

O final de ano é sempre um momento importante para refletir, agradecer e pensar no futuro. Somos muito gratos a todos em nossa comunidade por todo o apoio e pela manutenção do ABADA Capoeira Marin durante esta pandemia.

Nas últimas semanas, enfrentamos preocupações crescentes relacionadas ao COVID-19, juntamente com os pedidos de permanência em casa em constante mudança. Esses eventos podem tornar difícil manter a forma física e mental.

Capoeira é uma arte marcial única que é uma prova da perseverança e resiliência humana. O governo reconheceu que o exercício é muito importante durante esses períodos e permitiu que as aulas de capoeira continuassem ao ar livre de acordo com nosso plano específico para o local.

Com o seu apoio contínuo, esperamos ser capazes de continuar oferecendo aulas de capoeira ao ar livre para todas as idades com segurança e de acordo com as diretrizes governamentais. Nós o encorajamos a ficar em forma, ir às aulas sempre que possível e assistir online via zoom quando a chuva nos obriga a ficar dentro de casa.

Não estaríamos aqui sem todo o seu apoio.

On behalf of ABADÁ-Capoeira Marin and its Board of Directors, we would like to thank you all students and families for keeping the capoeira spirit alive throughout the year and for supporting our end of the year Bingo event.  Although we could not host our annual Holiday Roda event this year, we look forward to having one next December!
