A Message from your ACM Teachers and Board Members
As we reach the holiday season, we are thrilled to announce our "Season of Giving" fundraising campaign seeking tax-deductible donations from our community to support our school.
Many people are not aware that donations of cash and gifts to our 501(c)(3) organization can be used to lower your taxes, both for individuals and for companies. Of note, these types of donations are not subject to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which limits other types of deductions, such as mortgage interest and property taxes, to $10,000.
In summary, donating to our organization can result in significant tax savings for individuals and businesses. This is because it reduces your overall taxable income, which, in turn, can lower the income tax you owe to the government.
Our Capoeira campaign aims to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Capoeira, promote health and well-being, and provide opportunities for youth development and community building. We are passionate about sharing the beauty and benefits of Capoeira with a wider audience, and your support is crucial in making this mission a reality.
So we ask that you please join us to spread the word and urge your family, friends, employers, and local companies to help us reach our goal of raising $5000 in donations this year. We ask that you:
Donate: Any amount counts and your generosity can make a significant difference.
Share: Spread the word by sharing our campaign with your friends, family, and social networks.
Participate: Attend our fundraising events and classes, in which all proceeds go directly to the campaign.

Our Year - End Celebration!

As Part of our Annual Holiday Capoeira Event, there will be a special class called Rueda Con Ritmo, a with well known dancer, performer, community leader and art ambassador Jose Carrasco!
Besides being the current program director for the Youth in Arts Foundation here in San Rafael, Jose is also a joyful dancer who loves salsa, rumba, samba and second line. Jose is also a co-founder of Loco Bloco, an Afro-Latino performing arts program for youth.
Jose and his partner Karla have danced with Rueda Con Ritmo for many years and have attended a dance study tour to Cuba.
