Summer Family Class Starts This Saturday June 15!!

Mark your calendars! Our Summer Family Class kicks off this Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

It’s the perfect opportunity for families to bond over the rhythm and energy of Capoeira. Please note, there will be no separate Pre-K or Youth class for the next six weeks while capoeira Family Classes are held!! ABADA-Marin Batizado 2024: "O Impacto da Capoeira!"
Batizado Day: June 9, 2024
Time: 11 AM - 1 PM
Location: Bacich Community Center, 699 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Kentfield, CA 94960

Join us as all our Marin students gather to celebrate each other's growth. This is a free event, and all family members are invited to enjoy the celebration. All ABADÁ-Capoeira Marin adult and youth students should have registered in advance and arrive in full uniform.

Graduation ceremony for our dedicated students
Cultural performances
Special choreography by Tania Santiago, honoring the "lavadeiras da Bahia"

BATIZADO CHECKLIST
No drop-ins or last-minute registration.
Uniform: Wear a clean and complete uniform for both the ceremony and the workshops.
Cords Knot: Children should practice tying the knot (boca de lobo) with their cords at home.
Be on Time: All students must be at Bacich Community Center by 10:00 AM. Volunteers should arrive by 9:00 AM.
