SUMMER CAMP

2025 Summer Camp registration is now open! The camp is for children ages 6–12, with two age groups: 6–8 and 9–12. It will run from June 16–20, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Spots are limited. sign up now!

BATIZADO GRADUATION & WORKSHOP

The 2025 Batizado and Graduation Ceremony will take place on June 8, with workshops running from June 5-7. Registration is now open until May 15. Be sure to register early to secure your spot for this exciting event!

I want to say again thank you so much for the opportunity to train and rejoice in all of your accomplishments, I feel so privileged to have been able to witness the lectures, songs, and competitions. It’s been a needed reminder that joy and community are still possible even in the middle of a terrible pandemic and even if we need to be physically separated.

Capoeira is so unique and fun to learn because it is composed by all these many factors: includes mastering it's music (which has a correlation with the different ways we play Capoeira), the language (classes are thought in Portuguese and English) and it's history, which is so, SO rich. Practicing Capoeira it's a hell of a workout, while adding balance, speed and control in every possible muscle of your body. But even better than all of that: Capoeira is for me my family. Come to learn how to fight with style -that's what families are for!

ABADÁ-Capoeira Marin is a fantastic capoeira studio catering to all levels and backgrounds! If you are interested in athletics, music, dance, Brazil, any of the above, this is for you! The instructors are fantastic and especially good with children - our kids both started training at age 3 and they (now nearly 5 and 9) both love it. Treat yourself to something new - you will not be disappointed!

Capoeira a Brazilian martial art is inspiring to me because I am getting to learn the culture of Brazil. Capoeira influenced my life by teaching me how to build an experience with people not known to you. I believe the point in capoeira is to learn about life and have fun doing it.
