Every November, one of ABADÁ-Capoeira's most important events takes place in Brazil. ZUMBIMBA is an annual celebration that honors two legendary figures in the capoeira history: Zumbi dos Palmares (a hero of the black resistance against slavery and racial injustice) and Mestre Bimba (the founder of modern capoeira in Brazil). This year ZUMBIMBA happened via online.

Once again, Mestre Camisa is showing his incredible ability on innovate, adapt and rescue the history and traditions of capoeira even during this pandemic.

Instrutora Ciranda participated in the past weekend on this event. Along with other instructors from all over the world she had to complete tasks and make a presention with her group of instructors to everyone, including Mestres and Mestrandos.
Professor Prego is will be participating next weekend (11/ 27-29) along with other Professores, Mestrandos and Mestres from ABADÁ-Capoeira.
