What Is the Batizado?

The Batizado is our annual graduation ceremony. It welcomes new students to capoeira and recognizes the achievements of those advancing in rank.
It is a celebration of growth, community, and tradition, featuring workshops, rodas, and guest teachers from around the U.S. and Brazil. Whether it is your first cord or your next step forward, your presence makes the roda stronger.
