Gamal holds the honor of being the first student of Instrutora Ciranda to earn the rank of Graduado, corda azul.

He’s not only a wise Capoeirista, but also a passionate teacher, leading Capoeira, boxing and fitness classes at our San Anselmo studio. Beyond Capoeira, Gamal is a talented theater actor, spoken-word artist, writer, and producer. Graduado Maçaranduba is the Dad of Zekai, Graveto, who is also an capoeirista and currently hola natural/yellow cord in our youth capoeira cord level.

Beyond Capoeira, Gamal run his own business, Marin Boxing is a talented theater actor, spoken-word artist, writer, and producer. His dedication, creativity, and leadership inspire everyone in the Abadá-Capoeira Marin family.
